Land movement: By adding 900.000 m³ of soil, approximately 17 hectares were reclaimed from the Río de la Plata, from the mouth of the Ugarteche stream and Dock F (Areneras) of the Port of Buenos Aires, within the jurisdiction of the General Port Administration, a state-owned company. River bank defence: River bank defence works were carried out by installing a flexible precast concrete system, blending the works into the river with inclined planes, which dissipate the wave energy. Services: All necessary services were constructed (drinking water, sewage, gas, electric power, and telephone networks; pavings, sidewalks, and parking areas), in order to serve all the buildings constructed in the premises. Streets: Indoor and outdoor pavings were constructed by hot asphalt surfacing, 7-cm thick, on a 30-cm soil-lime basis, compacted at 99% of standard factor. Adjoining buildings: Constructions were made on a covered and semi-covered 7,000 m² area, the most important of which are: The Driving Range, with 160 covered tee boxes, includes a club house, a golf school, and a service building with a restaurant and commercial stores; 8 paddle tennis covered courts; an EG3 dual fuel station (gasoline and natural gas); 5 synthetic-grass soccer fields; restaurants; Pumper NIC fast food restaurant; CAIX Discotheque, with capacity for 1500 people.
