Concession of waste collection and disposal services was undertaken, covering 50% of the territory of the city of Rosario, province of Santa Fe. Services were rendered by following procedures certified by ISO standards and the timeframe of the concession was 8 years, from 1993 through 2001. The following fleet was purchased, aiming at providing the highest-quality service: 17 garbage trucks, 5 dump trucks, 7 sweeper and vacuum trucks, 3 container trucks with compacting system, 5 supervision vans. All routes were planned and operated from the administration plant, which was also equipped for maintaining, washing and protecting the fleet.
